There are several options for sharing your charts. You can share a chart in the following ways:
- Add to a Website – You can publish your public chart to your web site or blog by selecting Public Chart within the studio or the gallery and copying and pasting the embed code where you need it to be (learn how). Your site visitors will be able to see the a chart with the same interactive features you created in the studio. Public charts will also be posted to the ChartChannel with its own unique URL.
- Share with Another User – You can easily share a chart with another iCharts user. To do so enter their email address; they will be notified of the chart you've shared with them and the next time they login, they will be able to view your chart in their gallery. The person you have shared it with will only be able to view the chart; they will not be able to perform any edits. Whether or not they can share or embed your chart is determined by the privacy settings you have set.
If your chart is an Personal Chart, then the users you have shared it with will only be able to preview your chart, download an image of it, organize it into a folder of theirs or remove it from their gallery,
If your chart is a Public Chart then the users you have shared it with will be able to preview your chart, download an image of it, organize it into a folder of theirs or remove it from their gallery. Since it is a public chart, users will have access to the embed code and the chart URL. They will also be able to share the chart with their social network from the gallery.
If your chart is a Private Chart (Charts Behind Firewalls and Paywalls), then the users you have shared it with will be able to preview your chart, download an image of it, organize it into a folder of theirs or remove it from their gallery. As a shared private chart, they will be able to have access to the embed code but the embed code will only display on the websites only you have warranted.
- Share with Your Social Network – You can share your public chart on the most popular social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Plus and LinkedIn.
- Visitors to your website or blog to clip the chart to their own account as a view only chart. Similarly, you can clip interesting charts from the web into your own gallery. Clipped charts cannot be edited by anyone except the original owner.
