Yes, you can create a chart where the data resides in your own data source such as a database or any other source. In order to connect an interactive chart to an external data source, iCharts offers the an Enterprise package that has a multitude of options for connecting different data sources through Google's Cloud Platform, also known as Big Query.
There are many examples of how you can use the Google Big Query to power your interactive charts:
- You have data that updates very frequently, such as continuous feedback results or commodity prices, in your database and you would like to have a real time chart on your dashboard.
- You have a secured database, such as a sales database, that updates in real time and you would like an interactive chart to display selected information without exposing the entire data set.
- You have a portal, such as a customer portal, where dynamic charts are displayed based on user credentials.
